About Kelly Mathis

Kelly Mathis, founder and president of Nanny Works, has 10 years of experience in the nanny industry and has been working and volunteering with children for over 16 years. Her previous experience has provided her with first-hand knowledge of how to run an exceptional agency. Employed as a nanny for over 10 years and mother of three children, ages 5, 3, and 1, Kelly knows what it takes to be a nurturing, successful, and trustworthy caregiver.

Kelly pre-screens and personally interviews each and every candidate who applies with Nanny Works. Furthermore, she is extremely sensitive to the family's needs and is very selective in the acceptance process of nannies and babysitters.

Kelly is a well-organized, compassionate person who truly enjoys helping others. She will not recommend anyone to you that she would not feel comfortable leaving her own children with. She takes the safety and security of your family very seriously.

For years Kelly counted on friends or family to watch her children and always felt like she was imposing on them. Because they have their own busy schedules and agendas, it was often difficult to find someone to take care of her children when she had a doctor’s appointment, date nights with her husband, social events, and more. She never hired a babysitter because she didn't know anyone to ask, didn’t want to leave them with the teenager next door and didn’t feel comfortable taking out an ad and leaving her children in the hands of unscreened strangers.

After talking with many other parents Kelly realized that there was a real need for qualified, dependable nannies and sitters and in turn Nanny Works was started in March 2010. She is looking forward to assisting your family with your childcare needs.
